It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Ray (Imperial, Texas), born in Cisco, Texas, who passed away on February 11, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Flora, W. O., Monroe, Raymond, Freeman and Ernest; and her parents, William Oliver Moore and Nellie Virginia Notgrass Moore.
She is survived by: her husband J. T. Ray; her children, Grace Roberson, Jim Roberson of Hobbs, Judson T. Ray Jr. of Hobbs, Samuel Ray, Vickie Ray of Frederick, CO, Howard Ray of Hobbs, Robert Ray, Betsy Ray of Hobbs, Christie Barbee, Chuck Barbee of Roswell and Martin Garcia; and her grandchildren, Tarence, Cason, Braden and Matthew. She is also survived by Her children remember her as a tireless, dedicated and loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and welcomed all their friends into her home and to the dinner table just as if they were her own children.
