He was predeceased by: his parents, Sis Smith and Marvin Smith; his wife Barbara Lambert; his son Robert Smith Jr. (Hokey); his brother Johnny Smith; and his son-in-law Jeff Graham.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Graham of Amarillo; his grandsons, Tyler Chattin of Amarillo and Ian Graham (Meghan) of Wichita, KS; his great grandchild Ava; and his siblings, Tommy Smith (Linda) of Kermit and Judy Hollums of New Deal.
The family requests that donations be made to Petersburg Cemetery Association or BSA Hospice of the Southwest.
