He is survived by: his children, Virginia Dyer (Dave) of Moriarty, Ellen Dorman of Idalou, Buck Pettis (April) of Gainesville and Georgia; and his brothers, N. B. Pettis of Wausau and A. D. Pettis of Wausau. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
