With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Goldie Potts of Idalou, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Banks and Gracie Mahler; her siblings, Luella Davis, Gene Banks, Junior Banks and Wayne Banks; and her grandson Matthew Goin.
She is survived by: her husband Doyel Potts; her children, Tammy Ulmer, Michelle Rouse, Doyel Glenn Potts and Melissa Banks; her grandchildren, Daniell Honea, Jeffrey Morcom, Sarah Quick, Nitro Winters and Michael Morcom; her great grandchildren, William Morcom, Brooke Quick, Bonnie Jo Quick, Bowen Quick, Brooklyn Honea, Coy Honea, Blake Morcom, Faith Morcom and Ollie Morcom; and her brother Roy Lee Banks.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Idalou Thursday (701 Main St, Idalou, TX 79329). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Idalou Friday (701 Main St, Idalou, TX 79329). A burial was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Childress Cemetery.
