He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James and Syvilla Hazel Hollis Meason. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jo Singleterry; his children, Danny Meason (Cindy) of Lubbock, Jesse Meason (Paula) of Corsicana, Melva Meason Haralson of Lubbock and Tonya Meason Ray (Rusty) of Lubbock; his brother James Meason (Lee) of Muleshoe; and his sister-in-law Anita Singleterry Stewart of Amarillo. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
