He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles G. Stern and Lydia Rapp; his children, Vickie Hatt (Charles, Jr.), Donna Slocum (Dennis), William "Bill" Stern, Elaine Stromberg (Eric), Karen Beth Knight (Rob) and Lisa Mohney (Brandt); his wife Bertha Louise Anderson; and his siblings, Carl Stern and Elvira "Rusty" Hooper. He was also cherished by his 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hutto Lutheran Church building fund.
