He was predeceased by: his parents, Fermin, Sr. Escobar and Jessie Escobar; his wife Maria Escobar; his brothers, Danny and Sammy Escobar; and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Lopez and Maria Escobar.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Brown; his siblings, Gloria Lopez, Eloisa Escobar, Fermin Escobar, Jr., Josie Gomez (Robert, Sr.), Alex Escobar, Joe Escobar (Mickie), Fred Escobar and Janie Escobar; and his stepchildren, Juan, Melida, Miguel and Becky Castillo. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
