He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Martinez and Luz Martinez; his sister Lucy Guajardo; and his nephews, Gabriel and Tony Guajardo.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie M. Patterson, Susie Arocha (Robert), Paul Gary Martinez (Melissa), Gilbert Martinez (Leslie) and Michelle Martinez; his siblings, Joe Martinez (Becky), Carolyn Garcia (Raymond), Susie Bracomontez (Gene), Celia Villarreal (Jerry) and Linda Conde (Isidro); and his brother-in-law Paul Guajardo. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel (393 N Interstate Hwy 35, Georgetown, TX 78628). A rosary was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Georgetown Memorial Cemetery (1301 Weir Rd, Georgetown, TX 78626).
