He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald Mayfield; and his parent Bubbies. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Mayfield of Hutto; his former wife Colette Elaine Stearly Mayfield of Cuero; his daughters, Dayna Garland (Kevin) of Maui and Dawna Draper (Eric) of Cuero; his siblings, Karen Dehmlow (Lee) of Denver, Carol Mayfield of San Antonio, Keith Mayfield (Diana) of Shawnee and Kevin Mayfield (Elaine) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Lucas of Maui, Emily Garland of Maui, Ashtyn of Cuero, Dawson of Cuero, Ellyn of Cuero and Lincoln Draper of Cuero; his stepsons, Eric "Ryan" Michalek (Jessica) of Bastrop and Mark Kelley (Melynda) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his stepgrandson Micah Kelley; and his nieces and nephews, Laura Dehmlow, Katie Dehmlow, Jessica Kudla, Bobby Dehmlow, Michael Dehmlow, Jonathan Dehmlow, David Dehmlow, Justin Mayfield, Jared Mayfield and Kyle Mayfield.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry asked that memorial contributions be made to MATW Water Well Charity, MD Anderson, and Compassion International.
