We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2021, at the age of 85, James Melton of Hutto, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Melton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Melton and Eva Melton; his siblings, Jimmy Melton Sr. and Geneva Barnes; and his son Justin Melton.

He is survived by: his former wife Ethel Perrin; his daughters, Tammy (Perry), Gayla Freeman and Winona Hawkins; and his grandchild Fifteen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in J.L.'s name to the Alzheimer's Association.
