He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Dahl and Hilda Dahl; his siblings, Signe McDowell (Mac), Viola Deen (Chester), Ann McCullough (Don), Martha Krenek (Milton), Mayme Speed and Thure Dahl; and his son-in-law John W. Noren.
He is survived by: his children, David Dahl (Jacqueline), Christy Noren and Karole Eno; and his grandchildren, Kristi Reinach (Fanie), Jenny Noren (Tim Alvarez), Christopher Noren (Beth), Rebecca Berckenhoff (Mike), Stacie Sawyer (Levi), Katherine Wampler (Dakota), Brittany Morris (Mike), Victoria Eno and Audrie Elam (Thomas). He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
