He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Volek and Lydia Volek. He is survived by: his spouse Rubie Kasper; his pets, Girl and Sheila; his daughters, Lana (Richard Michalski) of Elgin and Dana (Tim Alexander) of Hutto; his granddaughter Brodi Volek of San Antonio; and his sisters, Shirley (Nolin Werchan), Henrietta Stanford and Helen Urbis.
He was very active in the Hutto FFA Booster Club securing many donations as well as buying stock and poultry for other 4-H and FFA members.
