Gladys Herod Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Herod (Hutchins, Texas), who passed away on August 28, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Crittenden and Lula Brooks (Edward Herod); her daughter Brenda Marshall; her grandson Darryl Herod; and her siblings, Alvin Brooks, Gilbert Brooks, Horace Brooks, Marvin Brooks, Annie Mae Moore, Clara Wright, Juanita Gray, Jewel Gordan, Lillie Mae Taylor and Mattie Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Herod, Manuel Arrington, Barbara Ann Herod, Vivian Jones and Kim Arrington; and her sister Shirley Byrd. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, thirty-four great-great grandchildren; one great great-great grandchild.
