Frank V. Tricomi Obituary
On Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, Frank Tricomi, Jr was called home at the age of 71. The world has lost a great brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
Frank was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on February 10th, 1951. He relocated to Dallas, Texas as a child with his father, Frank Tricomi Sr., Mother, Johnnie Tricomi, and siblings. He attended South Oakcliff High school, was an army veteran, and was a highly-skilled auto body repair and modification technician in his youth. He worked for and retired as the South Texas Regional Director in gas pipeline safety with the Texas Railroad Commission. He was also a successful business owner of several small companies. Frank served publicly as a City Councilman for the City of Hutchins and fought for the resident's rights. He was a proud Freemason with the Tannehill Masonic Lodge. He also worked diligently to save the wild snapping turtle population of Texas.
Frank is survived by his wife, Marilyn Mixon-Tricomi, whom he loved and cared for tirelessly through illness each day and was always concerned with her well-being. He is also survived by his son, Frank Christopher and wife Desirae' Tricomi; his daughter, Theresa Tricomi and husband Todd Strange; his daughter, Alisa and husband Jeff McDougall; his son, Russell and wife Brenda Mixon; his daughter, Lori and husband Otis Embree; his grandson, Thoren Tricomi and great grandsons, Finley and Rowan Tricomi as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, April 25th 2022 5:00pm – 7:00pm with a Rosary being recited at 6:00pm at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 at 11:00am also at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel with the Graveside Service being held shortly after at 1:30pm at DFW National Cemetery..
