She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Bennett and Lois Bennett; her husband Donald Preas; her sister Geneva Curry (JV Curry); her great grandchild Anthony James; and her grandchildren, Curtis Preas, Brittany Preas, Ginger Preas, Alexis Hallerbach and Nathaniel Gilmour.
She is survived by: her son Duane Preas (Tonya); her brothers, Allen and Wayne Bennett; and her great grandchildren, Kailah Hopkins, Aiden Gilmour, Harlow Hallerbach and Lorelai Gilmour. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Virginia's name to either the North Texas Food Bank (https://give.ntfb.org) or North Richland Hills Animal Shelter.
