He is survived by: his wife Wanda Cooksey of Newark; his son Bobby Cooksey (Dana) of Dumas; his grandchildren, Charles Cooksey (Cynthia) of Dumas and Debra Cooksey of Dumas; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Walker, Braxton, Kegan of Dumas, Daphne and Trinity of Dumas; his great great grandchildren, Alex and Samantha; his stepchildren, Patricia Meadows (Mike) of Rhome and Leslie Winslager (DeAnn) of Fairfield; his stepgrandsons, Bryan, Kevin, Joshua, Jacob and John; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hayden, Aubrey, Emery, Anne Claire, Kinley and Paisley; and his siblings, Dean Cooksy (Linda) of Arlington, Faye Roberts of Bonham and Lorene Hawk (John) of Savoy. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
