She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pawson and Lucy Pruett Pawson; and her husband David Van Verst. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Studley (Rick), Amy Hart (Tim) and Linda Thurston (Tim); and her sister Janette Schmitz. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
