He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hodge (Catherine Hodge) and Catherine Hodge; and his sister Patricia Collins (Joel). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hodge; his son John Hodge (Paige); his stepchildren, Janet Pullen (Mitch) and Craig Straight (Paula); his grandchildren, Matthew Pullen (Michael), Rebecca Pullen, Austin Straight and Michael E. Hodge; his great grandchild Aubrina Pullen; and his sister Marilyn McCormack (Bruce). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home (1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Smithfield Cemetery (7935 Main St, North Richland Hills, TX 76182).
