He was loved and cherished by many people including: his family Clarion; his wife Rowena DeLano; his former wife Jean Rogers; his sons, Melvin Charles "Chuck" DeLano, Jr. (Katie) and Nick (Danna); his grandsons, Asher and Tex; his children, Parker, Avery, Elle, Ashton, Amber, Madison and Savannah; his brother Larry DeLano (Raynee); his parents, Alfred DeLano and June DeLano; his siblings, Herbert, Gerald and Shirley Lerdal; his pets, Penny, Buddy, Megan, Duke, Gem, Roscoe, Willie and Fritz; and also, Renee Michelle Rella (Tony), Glenn Daniells (Amber), Haley, Gilbert, Grant, Matt Rella (Tosha), Olivia, Alfred Anthony "Tony" DeLano and Steven Quinn DeLano (Tonya).
