Marilynn Van Cleave Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilynn Van Cleave (Hurst, Texas), born in Odessa, Texas, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James LaFayette Lewis and Edna Geraldine "Gerry" Gibbs Lewis; her sister Sylvia Diane Williams; her in-laws, Lawrence Van Cleave and Allie Hale Van Cleave; and her brother-in-law Wayne Van Cleave.
She is survived by: her husband Othea "Van" Van Cleave; her daughters, Stephanie (Tommy McKnight) and Melanie (Brice Watkins); her grandchildren, Chris Van Cleave, Aubrey and Nathan McKnight; her sister Jamie Running (Peter); and her siblings-in-law, Iris Glover, Lee Adams, Laura Rutter (Jim), Paul Van Cleave and Scot Williams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home - Hurst (1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Masterpiece Church (3420 Brown Trail, Bedford, TX 76021).
