He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Drysdale and Vergie Kathern Oram; his son Daniel Forrest Drysdale; his siblings, Norma Stirdivant and Robert Drysdale; his wives, Barbara Jeanne Keeffe, Dorthy Mae Drysdale and Nadine Marie Drysdale; and his children, Joseph Michael Drysdale and Beverly Ann Parrish Carney.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Joanne Drysdale, Richard Ward Drysdale, Kenneth Robert Drysdale, Nathan Lim Drysdale, Sharon Elayne Buswell and Bruce Seldon Parrish. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren.
