She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gordon Christensen; her parents, John Henry and Hettie McCann Swanson; her brother Johnny Mack Swanson; her parents-in-law, Les and Charlotte Christensen; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Christensen and Eunice.

She is survived by: her children, John Christensen (Stephanie) and Kim Christensen; her grandchildren, Jonathan Pierre (Jennie) and Jordan Pierre (Drew); her great grandchild Dominic; her sister-in-law Vannette Swanson; her nephew Chris Swanson (Julie); her niece Tracy Hassell (Joe Ben); her great-nephews, Kyle Hassell (Maggie) and Cole Hassell; her nephew Scott Christensen; her niece Laurie Bartholomew (Brandon); and also Keith Pierre.
