It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Haenel Johnston (Hurst, Texas), born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darwin Haenel and Ruth Haenel; and her sister Joyce Read (Norman Johnston). She is survived by: her sister Nancy Bettinger (Bill); her daughters, Susan O'Brien and Barbara Wayman (Peter); her grandchildren, Becky Wayman Rasdall (Dow), Lexi Wayman and Casey O'Brien; and her great grandchildren, Zoey, Zach and Violet Rasdall. She is also survived by niece and three nephews.
