James Megellas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Megellas (Hurst, Texas), born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Carole Laehn; his sons, James and Stephen; and his grandchildren, Trace, Mackenzie, Marshall and Piper. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.

He started the Maggie Megellas foundation and spent a decade speaking at high schools around the country.
