It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Hooper of Hurst, Texas, born in Trinidad, Texas, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Damon Richard; her son Terry Dewayne Moore; her siblings, Barbara Baker, Gwendolyn Weathered (Roy), Lula Robert, Shirley Johnson and Walter Earl Hymond; and her grandchildren, Nicki Robertson, Terry Moore Jr., Emmanuel Gilstrap and DeConiar Hymond. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
