He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemmie J. Bynum and Flossie Bynum (Jones); and his siblings, Verdella Parker, Zelma Booker, Lemmie J. Bynum Jr., Theodosia Wilborin, Alonza Bynum, Glenn Bynum, Samuel Bynum and Barbara Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Raye Bynum (Dunlap); his children, Larry Bynum of Hurst, Texas and Belinda Bynum of Winnipeg; his grandchildren, Lucinda, LaVana Bynum and Gage Bynum; and his sister Bernice Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
