He was predeceased by: his parents, Slater Sr. Turner and Ida Bell Turner; his siblings, Mac Turner Sr. and Leona Bryant; his son Fred Pam Taylor (Saginaw); his grandchild Darnell DJ Ingram of Las Vegas; his great grandchildren, Brianna Lee, Jesleen Branch, Justin Johnson Jr. and Khyreem Branch (KB); his great great grandchild Brielle Jones; and his granddaughter Brianna Lee.
He is survived by: his brother Eddie Turner; his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Delola Turner and Denise (Saginaw); his grandchildren, Tasha James of Las Vegas, Katharia Branch (Katt) of Las Vegas, De'Andria Edwards (Ria) of Las Vegas, Zarria Benniefield (Zee) of Las Vegas and Frederick Benniefield (Freddy) of Las Vegas; and his siblings, James Turner (Lenora) of Virginia, Dorothy Turner-Cravin of Texas, Steve Turner (Shelia) of Texas and Doris Turner-Jackson of Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bethel Family Worship Center (946 W Pipeline Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Emerald Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park (500 Kennedale Sublett Rd, Kennedale, TX 76060).
