It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmitt Anderson Jr. (Hurst, Texas), who passed away on February 26, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Anderson Sr. and Arthuree Hunter; his stepmother Alberta Anderson; his brother James Anderson; his wife Bessie Anderson; and his grandson Anson Anderson.
He is survived by: his former wife Bettie Joe Anderson; his children, Joyce Anderson, Gloria Anderson Clarette, June Anderson, Vickie Anderson, Steve Owen Anderson, Kimpatrick Anderson (Tareshimeka), Vincent Anderson and John Anderson; his sister Mary Anderson; and his stepsiblings, Rufus Anderson and Irene Kimble. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
