He is survived by: his wife Sara Neiderhiser Hitt; his daughter Reese Hitt; his mother Mary Hunt Sharp (Jerry) of Texas; his stepmother Tooky Hitt of Spotsylvania, VA; his siblings, Richard Hitt (Jennifer) of Spotsylvania, VA, Christopher Hitt of Spotsylvania, VA, Shannon Crusa (Ryan) of Missouri, Kristina Gatewood and Dawn Gatewood of Texas; and his grandmother Dorothy E. Hitt of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
