Patsy Jane Purvis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Jane Purvis of Huntsville, Texas, born in Wilmot, Arkansas, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff L. McCain and Ivey McCain Roper; her brothers, C. W. "Buddy" Reid and E. A. "Pete" McCain; and her nephew Keith McCain.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Purvis; her daughters, Debbie Smith (Bobby) and Paula Welch (John); her brothers, Jeff McCain (Becky) and Jimmy McCain; her grandchildren, Amanda McGinnis (Steve), Kara Smith, Stephanie Welch and Austin Smith; her great grandchildren, Anthony McGinnis and Jenna Welch; and her nieces, Allison Jarrell (Palmer) and Ashley Carter (John). She is also survived by four great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Walker County Master Gardeners.
