With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon D. Copeland of Huntsville, Texas, who passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Leon departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Leon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leon leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Maude, Will, George and James; and his daughter Janice.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda; and his grandchildren, Julie, Rebecca and Troy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Center Hill Cemetery (110 Center Hill Rd, Oakhurst, TX 77359).
