He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Peterson and Juanita Peterson; his sisters, Cynthia Hammett and Tina Elmore; his niece Sara Tatum Owens; and his nephew John O'Dell Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Hightower Peterson; his daughter Andrea Williams; his grandson Weston Williams; his sisters, Donna Asbabranner (Wiley), Shirley Garza and Susan Franklin (Virgil); his brother-in-law Steve Elmore; and his mother-in-law Jeannie Hightower. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waller-Thornton Funeral Home - Huntsville (672 FM 980, Huntsville, TX 77320). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 136 Shorewood Dr, Huntsville, TX 77320.
