He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Linn and Beverly Ware Linn; his sister Shirley Carpenter; and his daughter Dana Hassanpour. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Linn of Huntsville; his son Larry Linn of Huntsville, TX; his sister Katherine Morgenroth of LaMesa, CA; his grandchildren, Nathan Linn of Austin, TX, John Courtney of San Diego, CA, Parisa Cerdas of Norfolk, VA, Abigail Linn of Ormoc City and Philippines; and his great grandchild Channing Cerdas of Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and in-laws.
