He is survived by: his sisters, Billie and Arlene; his wife Loria; his son Dr. Emilio Lopez (Gloria); his grandchildren, Mary-Ann Lopez and Dr. Juan Carlos Lopez (Nalley); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Emma and Emilie Lopez; his daughter Kelly Vera (David Dierksheide); his grandchildren, Garrett Vera, Wesley Vera and Kylie Dierksheide; his son John Goerges (Mariela); his grandchildren, Amanda Goerges Crisostomo (Rex Crisostomo), Daniel Goerges and Keyla Montes; his son Freddy Goerges; his granddaughters, Emma Goerges and Mary Goerges; and also Diego. He is also survived by his loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Huntsville (1700 Normal Park Dr, Huntsville, TX 77340). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Brooke Cemetery (672 FM 980, Huntsville, TX 77320).
