He is survived by: his son Nick Penick (Heather); his stepgranddaughter Kaliya Williams; his grandson James Tyler Penick; his siblings, Allen Penick (Frances), Jerry Penick (Sheila), Frances Shannon (Tannie) and Alice Pate (Bob); and his stepsons, Kenneth Gober, Kevin Gober (Annie) and Keith Gober.
