She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Sanders of Huntsville and Genia Sanders of Huntsville; and her siblings, Charles Sanders and Nelda Doughtie of Houston. She is survived by: her spouse Walling Jr.; her siblings, Durwood Sanders (Shirley) of Alvin, Norma Ault of The Woodlands, Joyce Hollis of Clear Lake and Charlotte Stewart of Houston; her son Ronnie Walling (Norma Walling) of Inez; her granddaughters, Sarah Lauer (Robert) of Richmond and Gracie Rider (Mitch) of Victoria; and her great grandchild Darcy Lauer.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of South Texas.
