She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Cooksey and Era Mae Cooksey; her son David Howard Yount; her grandson Daniel Allen; her siblings, Mary Ramirez, Arvie Wells Lelia Wright, Jesse, Jerry and Terry Cooksey; and her stepson Daniel Ross Allbright.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Stewart and Heather Era Christine Smith (Cory); her daughter-in-law Ashley Dunaway; her grandchildren, LaRanda Simmons, Brice Allbright (Meagan Bronte Allbright), Annabeth Yount, Alexia Hatthorn, Senior Airman Kayman Mays, Korbyn Hatthorn, Dax Yount, Sebastian Yount and Brannon Johnson; her siblings, Helen Durham (Thomas), Sharon Pitts (Hoyt) and Bobby Cooksey; and her great grandchild Marsali Joan Elaine Allbright (Clyde Cunningham).
