He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edinburgh and Rosita Edinburgh (Francis); and his brothers, Wayne and William. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Lankford); his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Hannah (Davis); his grandson Andrew of Dallas; his siblings, Carole Cooper of College Station and Michael of Dacus; and his friends, Austin and Houston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
