He was predeceased by: his parents, Emond Starnes and Elizabeth Starnes. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Griswold (Randy), Jennifer Ewing (Jonathan) and Summer Starnes; his grandchildren, Karlea, Ashlynn, Leah, Brianna, Grayson, Dalton and Waylon; and his siblings, Carol Pace, Betty Jean Arostegui, Susan Schrader, David Starnes, James Starnes, Kenneth Starnes, Sharon Wilson, Patricia Barton, Michael Wilson and Beth Nix. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waller-Thornton Funeral Home - Huntsville (672 FM 980, Huntsville, TX 77320).
