He is survived by: his children, Miles Allen Hobdy, Craig Morris Hobdy and Donna Hobdy Coussons. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
