He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Laurie (Montgomery) and Dillard Odell Willis; and his sisters, Carolyn Ivy and Evie Criswell. He is survived by: his wife Melva; his children, Sean (Melissa Willis), Tyanna Kay (Terry Bowers) and Stephen (Kathy Willis) of Huntington; his grandchildren, Jeremy (Alaina Bowers), Hunter Willis (Erin), Trent Barrios (Josh), Courtney Bowers (Dylan Willis) and Mayghan Willis (Brianna Willis); his great grandchildren, Samuel Bowers, Lillian Bowers, Jameson Barrios and Silas Barrios; and his sister Barbara Timmons of Fulton, Mississippi. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (9475 US-69, Huntington, TX 75949). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Baptist Church (1910 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904).
