He was predeceased by: his parents, Ragna Burnett (Squyres) and Hollis Burnett; and his brother David Burnett. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Burnett (Phillips); his daughter Katrina; his son-in-law Mike Wolfe of Huntington; his son Timothy Doyle Burnett of Huntington; his grandchildren, Chris (Lesley Wade) and Colten Burnett; his great grandchildren, Carter and Wymberley Wade of Zavalla; his stepgranddaughter Courtney Gerber; his sister Claudia McKenzie (Burnett) of Magnolia; his sisters-in-law, Ethel Simms (Kenneth) of Lufkin and Willean Conte of Atlanta; his cousin Peggy Squyres McGinnis; and also, Bella, Olivia, Branson and Waylon.
