Roxey Sweat Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxey Sweat of Hunt, Texas, who passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Weymon Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Head (Plunkett); her husband David Ray Oliver Sweat; her sons, Harold Ray and Mark Alan Sweat; her siblings, Gwen Warren and Weymon Joseph Head Jr.; and her granddaughter Vonda Sweat.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol June Sweat and Maria Ann Grieser (Rick); her foster son Billy Williamson; her daughter-in-law Barbara Glick; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bolton (Jon), Eric (Sena) of Craig, H. R., Denton (Vanessa) and Hunter Sweat; her stepgrandchildren, Ali Fisk and Jenny McCarthy (Sean); her great grandchildren, Ethan of Emily, H. R, Booker, Grant Sweat and Hannah Rodriquez; and her sisters, Weyma Jo Blackshear, Maribeth Bryant and Elizabeth Treadway.
