He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward B. Paul and Alice A. Paul; his former wife Betty Robertson Paul; his sister-in-law Mary Beth Paul; and his son-in-law Brant Bousquet.
He is survived by: his wife Clare Masterson Paul; his children, Roseanne Elling, Jeff Paul, Nancy Boyd (Jack), Jimmy Paul (Lynn) and Virginia Bousquet; his brother Kenneth A. Paul (Luann); his grandchildren, Trey Elling (Justine), Michael Elling (Meagan), Rob Elling (Kristin), Jonathan Paul, Katie Dunnigan (Ben), Kylie DeLaO (Ruben), Carrie Morton (Daniel), Kristen Myers (Kyle), James Paul (Ashley), Jerrod Paul (Miranda), Makayla Paul, Robert Bousquet and Paul Bousquet; his stepgrandchildren, Jordan Boyd (Roxanne), Tyler Boyd (Caroline) and Britton Boyd (Laura); his nieces, Mary Anna Paul, Alice King (David) and J. J. Langston; his cousin Bette Leonard (Phil); and also Bryan Leonard (Katie). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
