He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Anderson and Dan Anderson; and his sister Terry Jean Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Cunningham Anderson; his daughter Lisa Anderson Bird (Bryan S. Bird); and his brother Allan D. Waits. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
