He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherfey Arthur and Gladys Victoria McBroom Elmore; and his brother G. C. Elmore. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Yulonda McClatchy; his sister Rebecca June Brown; his son Gregg Allen Elmore (Deanie); his grandchildren, Rance Allen Elmore (Destiny) and Reed Walker Elmore; his sister-in-law Wanda Ann Hunt (Charles); his nieces, Lori Murphy (Monty) and Leah Fortenberry (Jimmy); and his nephew Chip Haynes.
