He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Wittig (Theresa), Forrest Wittig (Melissa) and Shawn Wittig (Amber); his grandchildren, Darrell Hawley (Erin), Eric Hawley, Krista Wittig, Toby Wittig, Lucas Wittig, Logan Wittig, Hayden Wittig, Jaylynn Wittig and Makayla Wittig; and his siblings, Helen Thomas (Edith Thonsgaard), Leonard Wittig, Herman Wittig and Howard Wittig.
