She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Cooksey and Alice Butler Cooksey; her husband Edward Golden, Jr.; her sons, Eddie Golden III and Jack Kenzie Golden; her siblings, William Lee Cooksey, Louis Jackson Cooksey, Edgar Ray Cooksey, Robert Earl Cooksey, Sarah Delcena Cooksey Hopkins and Almedia Cooksey Glass; and her half-sisters, Pearl Cooksey Conder and Lorraine Cooksey.

She is survived by: her sister Addie Lou Cooksey Woodliff; her daughter Gloria Golden; her son-in-law Michael Mungovan, Jr.; her grandchildren, Michael, Kristi Mungovan, Christine and John Bryan; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Thomas, Brenna and Cody.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rosewood Memorial Park - Humble (2602 S Houston Ave, Humble, TX 77396).
