He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Antonio Ortiz and Olga Paula Gamas; his grandmother Maria Luisa Orozco; his brother Juan Luis Ortiz; and his nephew David Angel Ortiz.
He is survived by: his son Cristian Omar Ortiz; his siblings, Liliana Del Rosario Ortiz, Oscar Isaac Ortiz (Maritza Ortiz), Haroldo Oliverio Ortiz (Patricia Ortiz) and Miguel Angel Ortiz (Gina Ortiz); and his nieces and nephews, Cedric Illescas Ortiz, Luis Ortiz Godoy, Cesar Lopez, Oscar Ortiz, Keven Ortiz, Carlos Ortiz, Joel Ortiz, Anthony Ortiz, Lourdes Illescas Ortiz, Gabriela Illescas Ortiz, Olga Ortiz Godoy, Rebecca Ortiz, Monica Perez and Jessica Ortiz. He is also survived by numerous grand nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
