He was predeceased by: his mother Revorda Mae Perkins; his siblings, John Earl Perkins and Tommie "Red" Davis; his son Charles Brooks; and his grandson Jamal Simpson.
He is survived by: his father Tommie Perkins; his wife Betty Davis Perkins; his children, Earnest Jr. (Margo), Veronica Lynn (Glenn), Ericka (Nathan), Eric, Jeremy, Justin and Jaslynn; his grandchildren, Byrun (Jessica), Shaun, Prince Perkins, Emit (Tre), Diamond Simpson, Kenyon, Glenn Jr. Parker, Kahlil (Destanee), Kaleigh, Kaydence Frazier, Jeremy Jr., Jayson, Jalayah, Jiselle Perkins, Jairedyn, Everly Perkins and Jayven Woods; and his siblings, Willie Mae Perkins Turner, Claudine Perkins Oliver, Roger Perkins (Hulene) and Floyd Perkins (Jackie). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and long time friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crowder Funeral Home (851 Farm to Market 517 Rd W, Dickinson, TX 77539). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
